Yep, it's time for the next instalment of the hugely popular Sonic Cathedral...

NOTTINGHAM noisenik nu-gazers AMUSEMENT PARKS ON FIRE are to play at LONDON’s SONIC CATHEDRAL club on Thursday, April 28.

As previously reported on NME.COM, the popular shoegazing revival night – which takes place at The Legion, 348 Old Street, London EC1 – will also feature an acoustic set from former Ride singer/guitarist Mark Gardener. “Surprise” guest DJs on the night are rumoured to include former members of Lush and Slowdive.

Amusement Parks On Fire also play dates at Nottingham Social (April 30) and Club AC30 at London King’s Cross Water Rats (May 11) before heading off to the States for five weeks for shows with Kaiser Chiefs and Engineers.

The band’s self-titled debut album is reissued this week via iTunes and on white vinyl. A download only single coupling ‘Yesterday’s Mistakes’ and ‘Smokescreen’ is released on May 2.
