Producer Salaam Remi posts track online after singer's passing

A previously unheard version of Amy Winehouse‘s 2004 track ‘Round Midnight’ has been posted online.

The track was uploaded by producer Salaam Remi, who worked with the singer on both her debut album ‘Frank’ and on around half of her hugely successful second album ‘Back To Black’.

Remi posted the track on his official blog and has also uploaded an alternative version of ‘Some Unholy War’, which did appear on ‘Back To Black’. You can hear the track by scrolling down to the bottom of the page.

Speculation has been rife about the material the singer recorded for her intended third album, and whether it will eventually be released. Speaking last year, she said that the record would have a “jukebox” flavour.

Winehouse was cremated on Tuesday (July 26) at a private service, attended only by friends and family. She passed away on Saturday (July 23), aged 27.
