Amy Winehouse arrives at court for ‘fan assault’ trial

Trial expected to last two days

Amy Winehouse has arrived at Westminster Magistrates’ Court this morning (July 23) to begin her trial for allegedly assaulting a fan last September.

The trial is expected to last for two days, reports BBC News.

The singer is accused of assaulting Sherene Flash mid-way through her show at Berkeley Square, Westminster central London on September 25, 2008. She pleaded not guilty to the charge of common assault in March.
