Blake Fielder-Civil had an appeal turned down by two judges

Amy Winehouse‘s husband Blake Fielder-Civil has had an appeal against his 27-month sentence for assault and perverting the course of justice turned down.

Fielder-Civil‘s appeal was heard in London‘s Court Of Appeal today (November 24) and was turned down by two judges, reports BBC News.

Fielder-Civil‘s sentence was due to end next month.He was, however, released from prison to attend drug rehab earlier this month as part of his sentence conditions.

The singer’s husband was found guilty of assaulting pub landlord James King in 2006 – and attempting to bribe him to change his testimony afterwards.

Winehouse was recently quoted as saying her marriage to Fielder-Civil was effectively “over”.
