Meanwhile, Justin Timberlake's 'The 20/20 Experience' holds on for a second week at the top of the Official Album Chart

PJ & Duncan, aka Ant and Dec, are top of the Official UK Singles Chart with ‘Let’s Get Ready To Rhumble’.

The TV presenters resurrected their Byker Grove characters on last week’s episode of Ant & Dec’s Saturday Night Takeaway to perform their 1994 Top 10 hit. The performance caused a frenzy among viewers who immediately started downloading the track, sending it soaring up the charts.

According to the Official Charts Company, the track sold a staggering 84,000 copies in a week, which equates to 64% of what it had sold in its 19-year history. P!NK’s ‘Just Give Me A Reason’ was its closest rival, finishing at Number Two with just 5,000 less copies sold.

At Number Three is The Saturdays’ collaboration with Sean Paul. ‘What About US’ was at Number One last week, but has dropped two places. Justin Timberlake‘s ‘Mirrors’ is at Number Four and Bastille’s ‘Pompeii’ completes this week’s Top 5.

Meanwhile, in the Official UK Album Chart, Justin Timberlake’s ‘The 20/20 Experience’ has fought off competition from Depeche Mode‘s ‘Delta Machine’ to secure a second week at the top.

‘Delta Machine’, the electro-rock band’s thirteenth studio album, is at Number Two, David Bowie’s ‘The Next Day’ is at Number Three and ‘Our Version Of Events’ by Emeli Sande is at Number Four. Bruno Mars completes the Top 5 with his album ‘Unorthodox Jukebox’.

Elsewhere, The Strokes have bagged their fifth consecutive Top 10 album with ‘Comedown Machine’ (10), Eric Clapton’s 20th solo album, ‘Old Sock’, is at Number 13 and Peaces debut album ‘In Love’ enters in at Number 16.
