Anvil have been confirmed to play this year’s Download festival.
The Canadian metal band – who are currently receiving critical and commercial success for their rockumentary ‘The Story Of Anvil’ – will play the June event alongside the likes of Slipknot, Korn and Marilyn Manson.
Anvil actually previously confirmed themselves ahead of the official announcement, and say they could play other events this summer.
Other newly-confirmed acts for Download are Billy Talent, Dream Theater, The Blackout and Buckcherry.
