Arcade Fire have covered Blondie‘s ‘Heart Of Glass’ on the current tour.
The Canadian band performed their version of the 1978 hit at their show last night (April 9) at the Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion in Houston, Texas. Scroll down to listen to a fan-recorded version of the track.
Arcade Fire have been covering a host of different artists on their current North American tour, performing their version of Boyz II Men’s ‘Motownphilly’ at a gig in Philadelphia, ‘Young Lions’ by fellow Canadian band Constantines in Toronto and Stevie Wonder’s ‘Uptight (Everything’s Alright)’ at a gig in Michigan.
The band also played their own rendition of Prince’s ‘Controversy’ at a gig in Minnesota. They will headline the Coachella festival this weekend in California.
Arcade Fire are set to bring their tour to the UK in June, where they’ll play London’s Earls Court on June 6 and 7. They have also been announced as Friday night’s headliner at Glastonbury, which takes place between June 25 and 29.
