The band continue their series of covers

Arcade Fire performed their version of Boyz II Men’s ‘Motownphilly’ at a gig in Philadelphia last night (March 17) – watch footage of it above.

It is the latest in a series of covers being performed by the band on their Reflektors world tour.

Last week, they covered ‘Young Lions’ by fellow Canadian band Constantines at a gig in Toronto (March 13). Prior to that, they took on Stevie Wonder’s ‘Uptight (Everything’s Alright)’ at a gig in Michigan.

The band have previously played their own rendition of Prince’s ‘Controversy’ at a gig in Minnesota.

Arcade Fire are set to bring their tour to the UK in June, where they’ll play three shows at London’s Earls Court on June 6 and 7. They have also been announced as Friday night’s headliner at Glastonbury, which takes place between June 25 and 29.
