Arctic Monkeys post video to new single ‘Black Treacle’ online – watch

Alex Turner and co also announce second leg of support slots for The Black Keys' US arena tour


Arctic Monkeys have posted the video to their forthcoming single ‘Black Treacle’ online.

The single, which is released on January 23, is the latest track to be taken from last year’s ‘Suck It And See’ album.

The California shot video features drummer Matt Helders as a knife brandishing escaped convict, a girl on the run in a wedding dress and frontman Alex Turner sporting his slicked back quiff. Click above the watch the clip.

The single will be released on 7″ and digital, and will be backed with ‘You And I’ by Richard Hawley and The Death Ramps.

Arctic Monkeys have also announced a second run of dates as support to The Black Keys on their US arena tour. The bands will start the second leg of the tour on April 24 at Houston’s Cynthia Woods Pavilion and finish up at Milwaukee’s Bradley Center on May 16. Tickets go on sale January 13.
