Plus album-producer speaks about project with Rascals' Miles Kane

Arctic MonkeysAlex Turner and The RascalsMiles Kane’s album is set to have a “60s” sound to it.

James Ford, who produced the album, told BBC 6Music that the album – a joint effort by the two musicians – also said that the sound was quite a departure from Arctic Monkeys.

“It’s quite different sounding than the Arctics’ I think,” he said. “It’s kind of ‘Sixties-y’ and there’s a lot of orchestration and stuff.”

As first revealed by NME.COM Alex Turner and Miles Kane recorded the album in France last summer after becoming friends when their bands toured together.
