The five dates have been pulled due to "complete mental and physical exhaustion"...

AT THE DRIVE-IN have cancelled the rest of their European tour, including forthcoming shows in CARDIFF and NOTTINGHAM, due to “complete mental and physical exhaustion”.

The band, whose last UK appearance was at the NME Carling Awards show at the London Astoria on February 2 have pulled five shows in Holland, Germany and England.

In a statement released this morning, the band expresses their “sincere apologies for these unavoidable cancellations”. The statement continues: “The band fully intended to finish the European tour as scheduled, but complete mental and physical exhaustion has finally taken its toll on the band after spending the past year touring the world.

“At The Drive-In would especially like to extend this apology to their fans. The band will be returning to America shortly and would like to assure everybody that they will be back in the very near future.”

The shows were scheduled to take place at: Amsterdam Melkweg (February 22)

Hasselt Muziek-O-Droom (23)

Frankfurt Exzess (24)

Cardiff University (26)

Nottingham Rock City (27)

A UK spokesperson for the band said that as far as he was aware, their forthcoming US tour, due to start on April 11 in San Diego, will go ahead as planned.
