The popsters shoot the promo for 'It's Okay'...
ATOMIC KITTEN have flown to SOUTH AFRICA to film the video for their brand new single.
Strict security is being maintained throughout the shooting in and around Cape Town – but NME.COM can exclusively reveal that the video is for Atomic Kitten’s first single off their forthcoming, as-yet-untitled album due out in September.
The name of the track, which was penned by the band, is ‘It’s Okay’.
Press access to the shoot has been denied and the Cape Town production company handling the shoot, The Farm, also refused to divulge the various locations of the video shoot or any other details.
Shooting began at around 5am on Saturday and was due to wrap up on Tuesday (March 26). One of the locations used was a secluded spot called Windmill Beach near Boulders, a few kilometres from the Cape naval base Simon’s Town.
Atomic Kitten took a break from shooting on Sunday (March 24) to do a brief, promotional gig for Virgin South Africa at Canal Walk shopping centre attended by 8 000 fans.
The band performed just three songs: ‘Eternal Flame’, ‘You Are’ and ‘Whole Again’. Afterwards around 2,000 fans queued for up to an hour for autographs.
