US band will perform in Manchester, London and Birmingham in November
Avenged Sevenfold have confirmed details of three arena tour dates to take place in the UK later this year.
The band will perform gigs in London, Manchester and Birmingham in November and December. Kicking off at Manchester Arena on November 30, the US group will then head to Wembley Arena on December 1 before a final tour date at Birmingham’s LG Arena on December 5.
Speaking about their upcoming arena shows, singer M Shadows says: “It’s been far too long since we’ve played for our friends in the United Kingdom. We’ve been itching to get back since our last appearance at Download in 2011. We are putting the finishing touches on a new album, and can’t wait to share the new songs with you in concert.”
Avenged Sevenfold are expected to perform songs from their new record on the tour, the follow-up album to their 2010 album ‘Nightmare’
M Shadows spoke to NME about the album in 2012, saying: “This album’s a little more groove orientated. There’s a little bit more groove to it, a little bit more focused on bigger riffs. So that’s where it’s headed – every song has gotta have a huge riff and every song has to have a groove to it.”
Avenged Sevenfold will play:
Manchester Arena (November 30)
London Wembley Arena (December 1)
Birmingham LG Arena (5)
