'I think all of these girls are great,' says rapper

Azealia Banks has revealed that she wants to work with Lana Del Rey in the future, and also hinted she could collaborate with Lady Gaga and Grimes.

The ‘212’ rapper teamed up with the ‘Video Games’ songstress for a remix of her track ‘Blue Jeans’ earlier this year but, responding to a question posed by a fan on her Tumblr account, Banks said she would like to work with Del Rey on “something original” in the future.

When asked if she’d like to work with Gaga, Grimes and Del Rey, Banks replied:

I’ve done a remix for Lana, but yeah i’d def love to collab with her on something original…. I think all of these girls are great.. grimes is really cool, i love her hairstyles. 🙂

In June, Banks spoke out about wanting to disassociate herself from the rap scene, stating that “from now I’m a vocalist, and will not be associating myself with the “rap game”… or whatever the fuck that means”. She also announced that she would be deleting her Twitter account @AZEALIABANKS, although swiftly returned to the social network four days later.

Last month (July 12), meanwhile, she gave away her new 19-track mixtape ‘Fantasea’ for free. The collection included her recent releases ‘Aquababe’, ‘Nathan’, ‘Salute’, her collaboration with Diplo ‘Fuck Up The Fun’ and a cover of The Prodigy’s ‘Out Of Space’.

Azealia Banks will play Reading and Leeds festival this August, before returning to the UK for a headline tour this October.
