BABYSHAMBLES AXE PALACE TRIP

The band abandon support slot due to family bereavement...

Babyshambles have pulled out of their support slot with Streets this week.

The troubled group were due to play at London Alexandra Palace this Friday (March 11), but have pulled out due to a “sudden bereavement” of the family of drummer Adam Ficek.

A statement reads: “It is with great regret that we have had to cancel this show. Out of respect for Adam and his family we decided that it would not be the right thing to go ahead with it.

“We apologise to all our fans and hope they understand the band’s decision. We also request that at this extremely difficult time that the privacy of Adam and their family and friends is respected. Our thoughts are with them.”
