Beady Eye postpone Far East tour due to Japan earthquake

Liam Gallagher and co pull May gigs

Beady Eye are to reschedule their 2011 tour of the Far East, which was due to take place in May.

According to their official website,, the band have been forced to postpone the dates until September due to the recent tsunami and earthquakes that have affected Japan.

Liam Gallagher‘s band were due to play five dates in Japan and one in South Korea.

Beady Eye are extremely excited about embarking on their first tour of Japan and South Korea and are disappointed they have to wait a little longer than expected to do so,” they said in a statement.

They added that they “ask their fans to be patient, and promise it will be well worth waiting for.”

Beady Eye are playing a benefit show for the victims of Japanese disasters on Sunday night (April 3) in London.
