Beck plays hide-and-seek at fan’s house with James Corden and Jeff Goldblum – watch

Beck also performs 'Country Down' on bizarre US chatshow appearance

Beck played hide-and-seek at a fan’s house with James Corden and actor Jeff Goldblum on Corden’s US chatshow The Late Late Show last night (April 2).

The stunt saw Corden pretend that there was no room in his studio for Beck to perform, so instead the pair went knocking at several nearby houses in New York. They eventually knocked on the door of a Beck fan named Tommy, who appeared delighted to invite the singer into his home.

After performing new single ‘Country Down’ from his ‘Morning Phase’ album, Beck played hide-and-seek at Tommy’s house, with Goldblum and comedian Reggie Watts joining in the game. The stunt can be seen below.

Corden began hosting The Late Late Show on March 23 on US network CBS, having taken over from Scottish comedian Craig Ferguson. Other guests have included Mariah Carey, Katie Couric and Tom Hanks.

Beck plays a one-off UK show at London’s Hyde Park on June 18, supporting The Strokes as part of Barclaycard British Summer Time.
