Beck remix album delayed

It's been put back until the New Year

Beck‘s forthcoming remix album has been put back until the New Year.

‘Guerolito’ was originally scheduled for release on December 5 but the LP, which will feature new versions of tracks from his most recent album ‘Guero’, is now due out on January 23 2006.

On the same day a limited edition 7-inch of ‘Hell Yes (Ghettochip Malfunction Remix)’ will also be released.

The new album will boast a cast of top remixers and artists including, Beastie BoysAd Rock, John King from the Dust Brothers, Octet, Mario C, Boards Of Canada and Homelife.

The artwork from ‘Guero’ has also been ‘remixed’ by the artist responsible for the original sleeve, Marcel Dzama.
