Beck’s new ‘Colors’ video was directed by Edgar Wright and stars Alison Brie

It features lots of blue-clad dancers

Beck has teamed up with Baby Driver director Edgar Wright and Alison Brie for his new ‘Colors’ music video.

The song is the title-track from Beck’s 13th album, which was released last October. NME described the album at the time as a “pop triumph”.

The clip features Beck and Mad Men/GLOW star Brie busting some moves with a group of blue-clad dancers.

Edgar Wright was shooting the video when he sent a video message for the VO5 NME Awards 2018 in February. Baby Driver took home Best Film on the night, with Beck making a dancing cameo in the background of Wright’s acceptance video. See that below.

Beck’s album ‘Colors’ featured in NME‘s list of the best albums of 2017. We said of it: “Aided by shimmering production by Greg Kurstin, the album is a kaleidoscopic and varied collection of songs which sees Beck embrace the mainstream like never before. From Men At Work-like flute riffs to the unashamedly vibrant ‘Up All Night’, his 13th solo album proved he’s still an essential listen.”

Meanwhile, Beck is set to return to the UK in May for a performance at London’s All Points East Festival. He joins the likes of Bjork, LCD Soundsystem, Yeah Yeah Yeahs, Lorde and The xx at Victoria Park.
