Beyonce marks anniversary of self-titled album release with ‘Yours And Mine’ short film

The clip features black and white shots and behind-the-scenes footage

Beyonce has commemorated the one year anniversary of her self-titled album with a new short film.

The surprise visual album was released via iTunes without prior warning last December, consisting of 14 tracks and 17 videos.

Now, the singer has unveiled a short film called ‘Yours And Mine’, which features black and white shots, clips from recent videos, plus behind-the-scenes footage. Watch below.

As well as the short film, Beyonce also released a ‘Platinum Edition’ of the album in November. The expanded version included four previously unreleased remixes from Nicki Minaj, Kanye West, Jay Z and Pharrell Williams, alongside the original CD and DVD in addition to new material and a live DVD of performances from Beyonce’s ‘Mrs Carter World Tour’.

Meanwhile, Beyonce and husband Jay Z recently made headlines when they met Prince William and Kate Middleton at a basketball game in New York. The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge were sat opposite the singer and rapper during the Brooklyn Nets vs Cleveland Cavaliers game at the Barclay Center in Brooklyn on Monday (December 8).

Video footage showed Beyoncé and Jay Z crossing the court between quarters to greet the royal couple. It was a meeting that concluded the first leg of Will and Kate’s American visit, which saw the duo also meeting President Barack Obama as well as Hillary Clinton.

Last week, Beyonce was named the most nominated female artist in Grammy Award history after receiving 47 nominations for Grammys throughout her career. The ‘Drunk In Love’ singer’s last LP, ‘Beyonce’, has been nominated in the Best Urban Contemporary Album category for the upcoming 57th awards. So far, the singer has won 17 Grammy Awards.
