Beyonce’s first post-baby interview branded as ‘made up’ by singer’s rep

Singer's chat with Star Magazine is fake according to her spokesperson

An interview with Beyonce, which was billed as the first interview with the singer since she gave birth to daughter Blue Ivy Carter, has been branded as fake by the singer’s representative.

The interview, which Beyonce allegedly gave to Star magazine, purportedly saw the singer discuss her baby’s father Jay-Z and the birth, but the singer’s representative has denied it ever took place.

According to Access Hollywood, Beyonce‘s spokesperson has said that the interview is “completely made up” and when asked if the interview was legitimate, replied by saying: “Absolutely not”.

However, the editor of Star Magazine Anna Pointer has denied any wrongdoing and maintains that the interview is legitimate.

She said: “It is not made up or fictitious at all. We bought the interview from a reporter in the US who conducted the interview with Beyonce before the birth. The reporter then obtained the ‘top-up’ info after the birth, which we believe to have been signed off by a girl on her [team].”
