McFly top UK singles chart

Boyband defeat Beyonce and Shakita

McFly have ended Beyonce and Shakira‘s reign at the top of the singles chart.

The axe-weilding boyband take number one with ‘Baby’s Coming Back’, beating the ubiquitous ‘Beautiful Liar’ to number two.

Linkin Park return to the top ten with ‘What I’ve Done’ and breakthrough stars Hellogoodbye debut at eleven with ‘Here (In Your Arms)’.

Over on the album chart, Arctic Monkeys hold onto number one with ‘Favourite Worst Nightmare’, narrowly beating Manic Street Preachers into second place with ‘Send Away The Tigers’, and Bjork debuts at eight with ‘Volta’.
