The singer performed at the Tidal X 1015 concert in New York

Beyonce powered through a concert last night despite suffering a bloody injury to her ear.

The star was performing at the Tidal X 1015 concert at New York’s Barclays Center last night (October 15). The show also featured the likes of Nicki Minaj, Common, T.I., Lauryn Hill and more. All proceeds raised were given to the Robin Hood Foundation, which aims to help those living in poverty.

During a rendition of her song ‘Haunted’, the singer appeared to notice one of her ears bleeding before continuing with the performance. Reports have speculated that her earring was torn from her lobe while performing.

During the show, Beyoncé told fans to “get in formation” while encouraging them to vote in the upcoming US Presidential election.

“Doing nothing right now is not an option, y’all,” she told the crowd. “I know it seems like things are bad, but if you think that can’t get worse just ask your grandparents. Remember Barack Obama is our President. You made that happen, young people made that happen.”

She continued: “We are not helpless. The fire is still burning. Please go out and vote this November. So many people have died and sacrificed so much for us to have our voice, we have to use it. Get in formation. Use our voices to do something great for our children.”
