'Straight In No Kissin' will be released on July 24

Ronnie Vannucci has announced that his band Big Talk will release their second album on direct-to-fan platform Pledgemusic via Little Oil Records.

Titled ‘Straight In No Kissin”, the album is due out on July 24 and, according to The Killers’ drummer, represents his desire to record something “a little bit more toothy” than the band’s self-titled debut.

“I wanted to cut live punk rock songs, but I wanted to put something in there for the ladies as well,” Vannucci told Pledgemusic. “This way, there’s a nice pop sensibility, but you can tell that there are men playing, not machines. I wanted to give it some fucking strength!”

Big Talk are also offering some supplementary extras with the album including an acoustic show at your house (£1625), Vannucci’s microphone (£2600) and the chance to share a bubble bath with a member of Big Talk ( £325).

‘Straight In No Kissin” was recorded at The Killers’ Battle Born Studios in Las Vegas and Vannucci’s home studio in Sonoma County.

Vannucci’s bandmate Brandon Flowers released his second solo album ‘The Desire Effect’ on May 18. The Killers’ frontman currently sits at the top of the UK Albums Chart having beaten Paul Weller’s ‘Saturns Pattern’ to the Number One spot last week.
