Watch Billie Eilish deliver a pretty great acoustic cover of The Strokes’ ‘Call Me Back’

Up and coming singer takes on the 'Angles' track

Billie Eilish recently covered The Strokes for US TV, stripping back ‘Call Me Back’ for The Tonight Show.

16 year-old Californian singer Eilish performed her song ‘Bellyache’ on the Jimmy Fallon hosted late-night show last month, also delivering an acoustic take on The Strokes’ ‘Angles’ track ‘Call Me Back’ as an online exclusive.

Eilish spoke to NME late last year, explaining the meaning behind her single ‘Bellyache’.

“That song is about killing people and being bipolar, but if you think about it, there’s a lot of different meanings in that song,” she said. “I’mma let you think exactly what you want that song to be about. Whatever you think it means, that’s what it is.”

Her debut EP ‘Don’t Smile At Me’ was released in August 2017. “The attention doesn’t scare me. Nothing really scares me, to be honest,” she said.

Eilish told NME about attracting copycats, as referenced on her song ‘Copycat’: “Sometimes it’s flattering when people copy you, but sometimes it gets to a breaking point”.
