Billy Talent confirm full details of new album ‘Dead Silence’

Canadian band's fourth album will feature 14 tracks, including new single 'Viking Death March'

Billy Talent have confirmed full details of their fourth studio album, which is titled ‘Dead Silence’.

The album is the Canadian band’s fourth effort as Billy Talent and their fifth of their career to date. It will be released on September 7 and has been produced by the band’s guitarist Ian D’Sa [pictured right].

‘Dead Silence’ is the band’s first album not to be self-titled, after they simply titled their previous efforts ‘Billy Talent’, ‘Billy Talent II’ and ‘Billy Talent III’. They released their 1999 debut album ‘Watoosh!’ under the band name Pezz

The album’s lead-off single ‘Viking Death March’ was made available last month and you can hear it by scrolling down to the bottom of the page. It is the second track on the album, which contains 14 tracks.

Billy Talent will preview their new material with a show at London’s XOYO on August 16. They then play the NME/Radio 1 Stage at this summer’s Reading And Leeds Festivals. They also performed at June’s Download Festival.
