Surrounded by greenery and backed by an ensemble of flautists, Björk served up a glimpse of her current live set-up

Björk gave her first TV performance in eight years on last night’s edition of Later… with Jools Holland – check out the two performance clips below.

The Icelandic artist is currently promoting her November 2017 album ‘Utopia’, which she will bring to the new London festival All Points East this weekend.

Ahead of her headline slot at the festival on Sunday (May 27), Björk previewed her current live set-up with a rare TV performance on the BBC’s premier music variety show last night (May 22).

Surrounded by greenery and accompanied by an ensemble of flautists, Björk played two tracks during the programme: ‘Courtship’, which featured on ‘Utopia’, and the 1993 piece ‘The Anchor Song’ – which was taken from her first album ‘Debut’. You can see the two performances below.

Björk will also be the leading musical guest on the extended Later… programme on Saturday (May 26), where it is expected she will showcase at least one more track for the show.

Back in March, Björk released an EP which featured remixes of her song ‘Arisen My Senses’ – which also featured on ‘Utopia’.

The three remixes were created by Jlin, Kelly Lee Owens, and Lanark Artefax, and a special 12″ vinyl edition of the remixes will be released this Friday.
