STARS BRIDGE GAP FOR BLACK EYED PEAS

Macy Gray, Wyclef Jean and De La Soul help out on Briding The Gap..

Macy Gray, Wyclef Jean and members of De La Soul are amongst the collaborators on hip hop outfit BLACK EYED PEAS second album ‘BRIDGING THE GAP’, due for release in late May through Interscope.

Gray, due to appear at a host of this summer’s festivals including T In the Park (July 8-9) at Balado and the V2000 double-header (August 19-20) in Chelmsford and Staffordshire lends vocals to album opener ‘Request Line’, while sometime Fugee Wyclef Jean brings the record to a close on ‘Rap Song’.

It is not the first time Gray has performed with Black Eyed Peas. While a student at the University of Southern California she guested on a track when the band’s scheduled session singer failed to show up. The song, ‘Behind The Front’, later appeared as the title track on the LA based three-piece’s 1998 debut album.
