Travis Barker gives hospital life the middle finger
Blink-182‘s Travis Barker said today that he expects to soon leave the Los Angeles hospital where he’s being treated for burns following last month’s deadly plane crash.
Writing today (October 17) on his MySpace blog, the drummer said he’s looking forward to getting back home to his kids, and posted pictures of his hospital visitors.
“Just another quick one to let everyone know that I think I’m getting out of the hospital soon 🙂 I can’t wait to get out of here and be home with the babes. The doctors say I’m healing up quickly and I’m gonna be out of here b4 you know it,” he said.
“The staff here is THE BEST, but this is what I have to say to hospital life,” he wrote above a photo of his middle finger.
He also thanked the people who came to visit him in his hospital bed, including Game, Sticks, his father, and “Yoko from Matsuhisa (MY FAVORITE RESTAURANT!) brought some food in for us. She is such a sweetheart and so nice to take the time to bring me some rad food.”
Barker was one of two survivors of the September 19 South Carolina plane crash, along with DJ AM, as previously reported.
