Four-piece cause a frenzy in record store

Bloc Party made a special instore appearance at Manchester‘s Virgin Megastore yesterday (February 14).

The four-piece played to a crowd of 250 people in the store’s basement at the Arndale Centre.

Along new single ‘The Prayer’, the band’s five-song set included tracks from their 2005 debut ‘Silent Alarm’ and their new album ‘A Weekend In The City’.

The band will release their new single ‘I Still Remember’ on April 9, and they are set to tour the UK in support of the release.
