Bloc Party go night clubbing

The band announce a special show at Fabric

Bloc Party have announced plans to stage a special benefit gig at a London nightclub.

The four-piece will play a live set at Fabric on March 16 to raise funds for an ill friend.

Drummer Matt Tong said: “This gig is for a good cause and one we are happy to give our full support.”

Support for the concert will include DJ sets from Erol Alkan and ‘Silent Alarm’ producer Paul Epworth, plus a live set from New Young Pony Club.

Tickets for the event priced at £20, are extremely limited but are available to members of the Bloc Party fan space, blocparty.com/marshals.

The show kicks off at 9pm and finishes at 2am.
