It's the Blondie frontwoman's first solo release in 15 years

Blondie frontwoman Deborah Harry has announced that she will release her first solo album in almost 15 years next month.

‘Necessary Evil’Harry‘s first album since 1993’s ‘Debravation’ – is due out October 9 in the US. The album features 17 songs including lead single ‘Two Times Blue’, which is “a return to her rock roots”, according to Harry‘s spokesperson.

Other song titles include ‘You’re Too Hot’ and ‘Deep End’.

Harry dueted with Lily Allen earlier this year on NBC’s ‘The Today Show’, where they performed the Blondie classic ‘Heart Of Gold’.
