Blondie announce show at London’s O2 Shepherd’s Bush Empire

The band release their new album 'Ghosts Of Download' on Monday (May 12)

Blondie have announced a show at London’s O2 Shepherd’s Bush Empire venue in June.

The band will play in London on June 30, following a previously announced date in Sheffield on June 29.

Blondie will release new album ‘Ghosts Of Download’ on Monday (May 12) – their first since 2011’s ‘Panic Of Girls’. The album is a double CD package, with the second CD featuring a selection of the their greatest hits.

Blondie announced they will be part of this year’s Glastonbury line-up during an appearance at the NME Awards with Austin, Texas, in February. The band were honoured with the Godlike Genius at this year’s event, which took place on February 26, where they performed a career-spanning set.

The band will join a Glastonbury line-up which includes Kasabian, Arcade Fire and recently announced headliners Metallica.
