The Brighton duo will release their self-titled fourth LP on March 3

Blood Red Shoes have announced details of a new album.

The Brighton duo’s fourth album will be self-titled and will be released on March 3, 2014. It is the follow-up to 2012’s ‘In Time To Voices’. Listen to the first track to be taken from it, ‘The Perfect Mess’, above.

Talking about the new material, drummer and singer Steve Ansell said: “For this album we packed up all our stuff, got in a van and drove to Berlin, where we lived for months in a rented studio space. No producer, no engineer, no A&R people, just us two in a big concrete room in Kreuzberg, jamming and recording our songs whenever we wanted, how we wanted with nobody to answer to except ourselves. It came out as our rawest, heaviest, sexiest and most confident sounding record so far.”

The ‘Blood Red Shoes’ tracklisting is as follows:

‘Welcome Home’
‘Everything All At Once’
‘An Animal’
‘Grey Smoke’
‘Far Away’
‘The Perfect Mess’
‘Behind A Wall’
‘Stranger’
‘Speech Coma’
‘Don’t Get Caught’
‘Cigarettes In The Dark’
‘Tightwire’
