A Bob Marley retrospective covering his musical output between 1969 and 1978 is to be released next year.
The double album, ‘Trenchtown Rock: Anthology 1969-1978’ is released on February 18 via Trojan. It features 51 songs recorded with producers Lee ‘Scratch’ Perry, Bunny Lee and Leslie Kong.
The recordings were mainly made prior to his signing with Island Records and becoming an international star. The anthology also contains tracks such as ‘Kaya’, ‘Four Hundred Years’ and ‘Satisfy My Soul’, which were re-recorded after signing to Island.
