ELTON JOHN is set to feature in a Christmas edition of children’s television show BOB THE BUILDER, and a prospective collaboration between the pair is already being mooted as a Christmas Number One.

Elton will voice a character called Lenny Lazenby.

Actor Neil Morrissey, who voices Bob, told the Daily Express today (August 8): “What happens is that Lenny Lazenby, who is played by Chris Evans, loses his voice so Elton has to sing for him instead. Me and Elton do a duet of ‘Crocodile Rock’.”

A spokesperson for Elton John could not be reached at press time. Bob The Builder struck the Number One spot in the UK charts last Christmas with ‘Can We Fix It?’. The track was awarded a prestigious Ivor Novello Award to mark its huge sales earlier this year.
