Bright Eyes to release new album

Rarities collection out in October

Bright Eyes is set to release the rarities compilation ’Noise Floor’ on October 9.

The album will consist of unreleased tracks, collaborations, covers and one off singles recorded by the Omaha native between 1998 and 2005.

The vinyl edition of the 16 track album will feature five additional tracks.

Meanwhile, Bright Eyes has been recording his new studio album in New York, Portland, Oregon and Lincoln, Nebraska, with producer Mike Mogis.

The as yet untitled album is set for a Spring 2007 release and will feature feature guest contributions from Gillian Welch and Sleater Kinney’s Janet Weiss.
