The brand take over central London tattoo studio for a run of exclusive shows

Bring Me The Horizon, Metz and Pure Love are set to play intimate gigs in central London this month as Converse announce a new series of exclusive gigs.

The Strokes’ Albert Hammond Jnr will also DJ at a special launch event for the series tonight (1 August), along with Zombie Boy and KAV.

For one month the brand will take over The Circle tattoo studio on central London’s Noel Street, transforming the basement into a live music venue. Metz will play the 100-capacity space on August 7 while Pure Love will follow later in the month on August 17. Sheffield’s Bring Me The Horizon complete the series, appearing on August 22.

The takeover comes as the ‘Rock Craftsmanship’ collection launches. Customers visiting The Circle during the collaboration will also be able to register to receive one of 60 free tattoos from esteemed tattoo artists, via the Converse website.

Recently Converse have held their ongoing series of live music events at the legendary 100 Club, beginning with a performance from Graham Coxon in 2011. Since then artists such as The Cribs, The Vaccines, Ghostface Killah, Gallows, Chairlift and Gorillaz Soundsystem have all taken part with Black Rebel Motorcycle Club headlined the most recent Converse gig, with Muse’s Matt Bellamy watching from the crowd.

Tickets for Metz, Pure Love and Bring Me The Horizon’s gigs will be free and available exclusively via Converse UK.

The full line-ups are as follows:

Metz, New Slang/New Noise DJs
Pure Love, Daniel P Carter (BBC Radio1 Rock Show) DJ
