Bring Me The Horizon talk ‘dicks and fannies’ at Download set

Sheffield band were in a sexual mood for Donington set

Bring Me The Horizon were in a carnal mood for their set at Download Festival tonight (June 10), dedicating their show to “anyone who’s been shagging” during the day.

The band were playing third from the top of the festival’s second stage, with frontman Oli Sykes wasting little time in introducing their song ‘Fuck’ with his suitable dedication.

“Hello Download, you sexy motherfuckers,” he declared before playing the song. “So, has anyone been shagging today then? Well this whole set’s for you. This song’s about putting dicks in fannies.”

Sykes also told the crowd that the band would not play ‘Pray For Plagues’ from their debut LP ‘Count Your Blessings’ unless they “show the biggest fucking circle pit I’ve ever seen in my life.” The crowd obliged though, and the band delivered on their promise by wheeling out the tune.

Bring Me The Horizon played:

‘Aligator Blood’
‘Diamonds Aren’t Forever’
‘Fuck’
‘Pray For Plagues’
‘Football Season Is Over’
‘Blessed With A Curse’
‘It Never Ends’
‘Anthem’
‘Chelsea Smile’
‘No Need For Introductions, I’ve Read About Girls Like You On The Back Of Toilet Doors’

Download continues tonight with live sets from The Darkness, Pendulum and a headline performance from Def Leppard.
