Bring Me The Horizon frontman Oli Sykes attacked onstage in Salt Lake City – video

Fan footage emerges of the singer getting in a scrap with fans

Bring Me The Horizon frontman Oli Sykes suffered an onstage attack during the band’s gig in Salt Lake City last night (October 3).

The singer, who was performing with the band on their current US headline tour, became angry when bottles and other objects were thrown from the crowd and called for those who threw them to either leave or come onstage and address him personally.

Sadly, some crowd members then did come onstage and attack Sykes. You can watch fan filmed footage of the incident by scrolling down to the bottom of the page and clicking.

Sykes was unharmed by the incident and returned to the stage around half an hour later to finish his set with the band.

Bring Me The Horizon will play as the main support band on Machine Head‘s UK arena tour later this year along with Devildriver and Darkest Hour.

The band will then begin work on the follow-up to their third album ‘There Is A Hell, Believe Me I’ve Seen It. There Is A Heaven, Let’s Keep It A Secret’ and have said they hope to be in the studio by summer 2012.
