Judge issues restraining order in Britney Spears case

Pop star's former manager and attorney must steer clear of her

A judge today (April 28) issued a restraining order against Britney Spears‘ former manager and attorney, which says that they must steer clear of her and avoid any contact with her for the next three years.

Los Angeles Superior Court Judge Aviva Bobb gave her ruling after hearing testimony from Spears‘ father, Jamie, as well as the men themselves — Osama Lutfi and Jon Eardley, reports the Associated Press.

Lutfi‘s and Eardley‘s attorneys argued unsuccessfully that the men never posed a threat to the singer’s safety and therefore did not meet the standards for issuing a restraining order.
