Britney Spears ‘takes out restraining order’

Singer takes out order against former manager and ex-boyfriend

Britney Spears has obtained a restraining order against her former manager Sam Lutfi and ex-boyfriend Adnan Ghalib, according to court papers.

The order, obtained from Los Angeles judge Aviva K Bobb, accused Ghalib, a photographer, and Lutfi of trying to “disrupt” the conservatorship the ‘Womanizer’ singer was under, according to BBC News.

The singer’s father Jamie Spears had been acting as her “conservator” (‘legal controller’) for the past year.

A third man, lawyer John Eardley, was also named in the papers.

The documents state that Lutfi, Ghalib and Eardley have been trying to take charge of Spears‘ affairs, which have been controlled by her father since February 1, 2008.

“On the first anniversary of the establishment of the conservatorship, the co-conservators are informed and believe that these three figures are working in concert to disrupt the conservatorship, with an utter disregard for Ms Spears‘ health and well-being,” the documents, released on Friday (January 30), state.
