Brody Dalle announces first UK gig of 2018 with Queens Of The Stone Age

Miles Kane, Hinds and more also join Finsbury Park line-up

Brody Dalle has announced her first UK show of 2018, joining the latest additions to the line-up supporting Queens Of The Stone Age at London’s Finsbury Park.

Last year saw QOTSA announce the huge London show along with Iggy Pop, Run The Jewels, The Hives and more. Now, it’s been announced that they’ll also be joined by frontman Josh Homme’s wife and punk icon Brody Dalle playing a ‘stripped down’ solo show, along with Miles Kane, Bombino, Curtis Harding, Hinds and Belako.

The show takes place Saturday 30 June and tickets are available here.

This currently marks Dalle’s only UK appearance of 2018, after recently announcing the reunion and world tour of punk veterans The Distillers.

The Distillers were at the forefront of the California punk scene at the turn of the century, releasing three acclaimed and highly influential albums between 2000 and 2003. They announced their split in 2006 following the departure of drummer Andy Granelli and bassist Ryan Sinn. Remaining members Dalle and Tony Bevilacqua then went on to form Spinerette, before Dalle later launched a successful solo career.

Last year, Dalle excited fans when she shared photos of herself at work in the studio.

Dalle released her acclaimed debut solo album ‘Diploid Love‘ in 2014.  The record features guest appearances from Garbage’s Shirley Manson, The Strokes’ Nick Valensi, Michael Shuman of Queens Of The Stone Age and Emily Kokal of Warpaint among others. Then, Dalle took a break from music and touring when her and husband Josh Homme welcomed their third child, Wolf.
