Bruce Springsteen announces UK stadium tour dates

Springsteen and his E Street Band will tour in May and June

Bruce Springsteen has announced details of a UK stadium tour, including a night at London’s Wembley Stadium.

Springsteen and his E Street Band will play a series of open air gigs this summer, starting at Manchester’s Etihad on May 25. From there Springsteen will perform at Hampden Park in Glasgow on June 1 and Coventry’s Ricoh Arena on June 3. The tour will then close with the Wembley gig on June 5.

The Boss is touring to mark his 1980 album ‘The River’. The album was reissued in 2015 with Springsteen expected to play the album in full on his stadium dates.

Springsteen, who will release his memoirs later this year, was recently seen inviting an elderly member of the crowd on stage at the Toronto leg of his world tour.
