Bryan Ferry’s Dylan covers get US release

'Dylanesque' to come out in time for summer

Roxy Music frontman Bryan Ferry has put together a full album of Bob Dylan cover songs, which is set to be released in the US on June 19 via Capitol Music Group, and on March 5 in the UK.

‘Dylanesque’ is the singer’s 12th solo album and was recorded in one week with his touring band, who aimed for a “warm, live acoustic sound” on the album.

Ferry covers songs from several decades of Dylan‘s career, including ‘The Times They Are A-Changin’‘, ‘Knockin’ on Heaven’s Door‘, ‘Just Like Tom Thumb’s Blues’ ‘Simple Twist of Fate’, ‘Make You Feel My Love’ and ‘If Not For You’, which features contributions from Roxy Music co-founder Brian Eno.
