Cage The Elephant have been forced to pull out of this Friday’s Club NME in London (August 1), and have been replaced by French alt-rockers Underground Railroad.
Vocalist Matt Schultz injured his knee in the US earlier this month, forcing Cage The Elephant to pull out of a number of shows in the UK.
Underground Railroad will now headline the night, held at London‘s KOKO venue this Friday, with support from Baddies.
Cage The Elephant have been forced to cancel the following shows:
London Club NME @ KOKO (August 1)
Standon Calling Festival, Hertfordshire (2)
Y Not Festival, Derbyshire (3)
Belladrum Festival, Scotland (8)
Ripcurl Boardmasters Festival, Newquay (9)
The Kentucky band hope to return to the UK in time for their slots at Reading And Leeds Festivals (August 22-24).
