Kentucky rockers pull three festivals and one gig after accident
Cage The Elephant have been forced to cancel or postpone a number of gigs this weekend.
Vocalist Matt Shultz was injured in an accident in the US and as such has not been able to fly to the UK.
The band have cancelled three festival appearances, but will reschedule their gig in Glasgow for a later date.
In a statement, Shultz said: “We are absolutely gutted that we can’t be there this weekend and can’t wait to get over to the UK as soon as we can.”
Cage The Elephant have cancelled the following dates:
London West Rocks @ Neighbourhood (July 18)
Lovebox Weekender (19)
T4 On The Beach – Weston Super Mare (20)
Glasgow King Tuts (21) – to be rescheduled
