Midweek Chart Update: Calvin Harris set to topple Taylor Swift from Number One spot

Scottish producer set for third chart topper in Official UK Album Chart

Calvin Harris is on course for the Number One position in this week’s Official UK Albums Chart.

The Scottish producer’s new album was released on Monday (November 3) and features collaborations with Haim, Ellie Goulding, John Newman and Gwen Stefani.

Official Chart Company data shows that the album is just 1,000 sales ahead of its nearest rival, Ed Sheeran and his album ‘X’. Taylor Swift‘s ‘1989’ has slipped from Number One to Three. Success this week would mark Harris’ third Number One in the UK following ’18 Months’ and ‘Ready For The Weekend’. The final chart placings will be revealed on BBC Radio 1 on Sunday (November 9).
