Liam Cormier and co reveal the first taste of their new LP 'Dead Set On Living'
Cancer Bats have revealed the first single from their fourth studio album, which is titled ‘Old Blood’.
The track, which you can hear by scrolling down to the bottom of the page and clicking, is the first to be taken from the band’s new studio album ‘Dead Set On Living’, which is set to be released in the spring of 2012.
The band’s frontman Liam Cormier had previously told NME that his band were “ready to party” on their fourth album, which is the follow-up to 2010’s ‘Bears, Mayors, Scraps & Bones’.
He said: “We really looked at it like, ‘Let’s make this album the ultimate party in every way that I know Cancer Bats fans want to get down.’ Because I’m not sick of what we do, I fucking love playing these songs every night. That’s the kind of vibe I still want to have going”.
Cancer Bats are widely expected to announce new UK tour dates in the next month. They have already announced a gig at London’s Relentless Garage venue on April 21.
