Carly Rae Jepsen continues to tease fans with latest Spotify update

The Canadian artist previously got her followers talking after she appeared to preview a new track on Instagram last month

Carly Rae Jepsen has continued to tease her fans about the imminent arrival of new music by updating her Spotify page.

The Canadian artist is expected to return to action this year with the release of her as-yet-untitled fourth studio album, which’ll follow 2015’s ‘Emotion’. Jepsen last released new material back in May 2017 with the single ‘Cut To The Feeling’, which was originally intended for inclusion on ‘Emotion’.

Last month, Jepsen appeared to preview a brand new song on Instagram – with fans of the artist picking up on the apparent airing of the track in their droves.

Jepsen has yet to confirm when any new music will drop, however.

The 32-year-old has previously suggested that her fourth album will be predominantly inspired by disco, but failed to give fans an expected release date when asked about her next music project by a Japanese radio station.

“I have a baby plan for the album,” she said back in September. “It would be great to get it here as soon as possible, but it’s also more important to get it right. I’m in the cleaning up phases right now. Just making sure it’s all polished.”
